International Summer Academy Cervo 1.9.2013 – 12.9.2013

GENERAL CONDITIONS 
The master classes are open to professional musicians and music students. Active participation may depend on an audition. Participation as an auditor is possible. It is valid for all courses.

 

Active participants are allowed to listen free to the other courses. The chamber music class is open for already existing as well as last minute ensembles. 

There will be 13 public concerts held by Academy professors and students. The final concert will be played by a chamber orchestra, which will be formed by students of the string classes. The participation is obligatory. By applying every student commits him-/herself to participate in this concert, if necessary. The soloists for this concert will be chosen by the professors of the different classes during the course. Participants (violin, viola, cello, piano) will be informed of the concertos to be played with the registration confirmation. 

The program prepared for the courses must be indicated in detail at the time of application. During the course the student will receive four lessons. Languages of courses: German, English, French, Italian. 

TUITION FEES  
Active participants: Euro 360 €
Auditors: Euro 150 €
(Special fee for chamber music groups) 

The fees have to be payed before the course starts. (either by bank transfer or in cash by 1/9/2013) 

An additional application fee of 60 Euro is to be transferred together with the application (free of charge for the receiver) by June 30th 2013. The application fee cannot be refunded in case of withdrawal. Final confirmation of registration will be sent to the student after the professor has approved it, by July 15th 2013 at the latest.

ACCOMMODATION  
Accommodation will be arranged by the Academy in private apartments/houses in single, double or triple bedrooms. Prices for accommodation will be 16 € (day/person). The accommodation fees of € 208 are to be transferred in their entirety by August 15th 2013. In case of withdrawal the Academy cannot refund the accommodation fees because of contracts with the landlords and ladies.

Please bring the following items with you:
- a music stand! 
- bed linens and pillowcase
- bath towels, beach towels and dish towels

If a student wishes to stay in a hotel he/she has to inform the secretary of the Academy about it and the room rent shall be his/her sole responsibility.

OTHER
A student participates on his/her own risk.
The Academy does not incur liability for anything.
